Meagan Good was the early 2000’s movie it girl. The actress has had to deal with comments about the color of her skin for quite some time now.
Good was always caramel-skinned, but as of lately it seemed that she may have done something to make her skin appear lighter.
In photos on her Instagram page, fans could often be seen commenting on her hue.
‘Ppl feel like they need to lighten their skin just because the industry praises light skin women better than they do darkskin women smh why can’t we just love our self with the skin we’re in,’ said one.
‘She was at an event in my city looking quite pale a month ago soooo i dont know what’s going on but it’s not the lights,’ added another.

This person who did some deep diving said: ‘I went on her IG you can see she is considerably lighter…🤔 filters?’
Good has gotten fed up with the commentary and decided to issue a classy clapback to a follower.
It turns out that there was something that discolored her complexion; however, she insists that it wasn’t on purpose.
The fan wrote: ‘Megan looked better with dark skin…She not so pretty anymore she looks average…But her dark skin was above average…Why did she Bleach.’
The actress explained: ‘I didn’t Queen. A (unbeknownst to me) unlicensed aesthetician gave me a product to correct a sun damage mark on my forehead that messed up my skin.’
She went on to add that her skin is recovering from the mishap.
‘By the grace of God only; I’m about 80% through recovery and regaining my color daily. To be honest it was a beyond painful and traumatic experience because I would never wish that on anybody. I’d really appreciate if you wouldn’t continue to spread assumptions and rumors. God Bless You.’

Maybe people will leave Good alone about the issue now.
