Allison Kuch was emotional for a number of reasons after the Raiders released her husband, defensive end Isaac Rochell, on Tuesday.

Kuch, who’s due to give birth to the couple’s first child in December, explained why she cried upon receiving the news.

“If you’re tired about always hearing about these transactions, same,” the social media influencer said in a video on TikTok while sharing the news of Rochell’s release. “This sucks for all of us.

“At the end of the day the NFL is a business and my husband and I are fine. We are OK. We have each other.

“But I would be lying if I said this didn’t affect me or that I didn’t care or it didn’t make me emotional.

“Our baby’s due date is in four weeks. Yeah, I was crying when I found out my husband was being released.”

The couple is expecting a baby girl.

Kuch explained that the seven-year veteran, who was released exactly one year ago by the Browns, will go through waivers, where he could be claimed by another team over the course of 24 hours after his release.

The Raiders had to make a roster move in order to fit newly acquired ex-Patriots cornerback Jack Jones, which resulted in waiving Rochell.

“Now, the part where it becomes emotional is the fact that we’ve created a sense of community here,” Kuch said.

“We have friends here, teammates here — and the fact that now we’re going to be uprooted and have to move so close to welcoming our daughter into the world.

“She’s going to be like, ‘Wow, your world is hectic.'”

Kuch explained what’s next for the couple.

“If he is claimed, that means he’ll sign to another team’s 53-man roster, and if he is not claimed at the end of the 24 hours he is then a free agent and can sign to a practice squad or a 53-man roster,” she said.

“Having your husband lose his job four weeks before your due date is definitely not ideal, but I know there are so any other women in way more difficult situations that are also pregnant, so I understand that as well.

“Above all else I am just so thankful for this community on here … and I might need a doctor to deliver my child in a different city … stay tuned.”

Both Kuch and Rochell made light of the situation on social media.

“Well I guess it’s a good thing I haven’t started nesting lol,” she wrote in her caption.

Rochell took to TikTok to share the news of his release, saying he was “going to find some humor in this situation,” and explained why Nov. 14 seems to be an unlucky day for him.

“Because this date for some reason does not like the Rochells,” he said in the TikTok video. “I wake up this morning, this pops up on my timeline.

“Nov. 14 last year I got released by the Browns, and I look over at my wife and I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s crazy a year ago today I got released.’ And then I got this text. You got to be kidding me.”

Rochell added that he’s “excited about the next chapter” and joked in his caption “let’s do away with November 14th.”

Rochell was inactive for the Raiders’ Week 10 win against the Jets.

He played in eight games this season for Las Vegas with one start — and recorded 10 tackles and was on the field for 120 defensive snaps and 33 on special teams.

Rochell has 113 tackles, 9.5 sacks, an interception and 17 quaterback hits in 78 career games.

The Notre Dame product was a seventh-round pick by the Chargers in the 2017 NFL draft.
