PSV can exploit weakened visitors
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta can afford to rest players as his side have already won Group B, making December’s league matches against Brighton, Liverpool, West Ham and Fulham more of a priority.
The Gunners thrashed PSV 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium on matchday one and eased to a 6-0 home win over Lens in their previous home game in Europe.
However, they have been less convincing on the road and Peter Bosz’s rampant PSV side are worth backing to avenge their opening-night defeat in north London.
Arsena’s last four away matches in the league have been 1-0 defeats at Newcastle United and Aston Villa, either side of tense wins at Brentford and Luton in which the decisive goals came in the 89th and 97th minutes respectively.
Their only Champions League setback this term also came on the road, when they suffered a surprise 2-1 loss at Lens, and they are in imperious form in the Eredivisie.
The hosts have won 15 out of 15 in the Dutch top flight, scoring 52 goals and conceding only six. All but one of their victories has come by at least a two-goal margin and the exception was a 2-1 away win against second-placed Feyenoord at the start of December.
PSV produced a stirring comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2 away to Sevilla on matchday five and they could be too slick for Arsenal on Tuesday.

Til looks tempting
PSV have goal threats all over the pitch, but midfielder Guus Til is a particularly tempting bet to score at any time against Arsenal.
Til opened the scoring in last Thursday’s 2-0 home win over Heerenveen, taking his tally for the season to seven goals in just nine Eredivisie starts and six substitute appearances.
He averages a healthy 2.5 shots per game in the Dutch top flight this term and is worth backing to break his duck in the Champions League this week.
Til made a dramatic impact on his PSV debut in July 2022, scoring a hat-trick in the Dutch Super Cup win over Ajax, and his goalscoring output has been even more impressive this term.
PSV vs Arsenal tip 2: Guus Til to score any time @ 7/2 with Betfair
Bank on late goals
PSV average 3.47 goals per game in the Eredivisie this season, while Arsenal have scored 15 times in their first five Champions League matches so over 2.5 goals is a solid first selection for a bet builder.
The draw at half-time is also worth including as PSV’s attacking threat tends to increase as the game goes on.
Just 16 of their 52 league goals have been scored before the break this season and six of their seven strikes in Europe have come in the second half so an even first 45 minutes could be on the cards.
While Til has a great goalscoring record from midfield, striker Luuk de Jong is also having a prolific season. He has claimed 10 goals in 15 league appearances and averages three shots per game in the Champions League, finding the net in PSV’s first two home games against Sevilla and Lens.
PSV vs Arsenal tip 3: Bet builder: Over 2.5 goals; half-time – draw; Luuk de Jong to score any time @ 10/1 with Betfair
