According to the event’s 1iota page, the performance will take place live on Tuesday, November 14th at 3:30 p.m. in Los Angeles, California. Tickets for the recording immediately sold out once the group’s appearance had been announced.
Big Hit Entertainment also confirmed that the Late Late Show performance will be BTS’ first once they arrive in the United States.
Their other appearances include Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 15th, the American Music Awards on November 19th, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 21st.
To accompany their promotions in the U.S., the group will also be releasing a remix of their hip hop track “Mic Drop” with American rapper Desiigner, whom they first met at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. The remix was first scheduled to release on Friday, November 17th, but has now been postponed to a week later on Friday, November 24th.
BTS’ latest television booking comes on the same day group leader Kim Namjoon announced that he will be dropping the “Rap Monster” moniker for “RM.”
The septet also recently surpassed 10 million followers on Twitter.
