Jerry Stiller has passed away at the respectable age of 92 and his fellow actor son, Ben Stiller took to social media to pay tribute to him. Earlier today, May 11, he announced the sad news on his Twitter account and wrote a touching message about the Seinfeld star as well.

The legendary actor and comedian passed away much to the sadness of his loved ones and fans everywhere, his son being one of the many mourning his loss.

‘I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, has passed away of natural causes. He was a truly great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for around 62 years. He’ll be greatly missed. Love you Dad,’ Ben Stiller wrote alongside a picture of his beloved dad.

As you may know, Jerry played the role of Frank Costanza in Seinfeld, from 1993 to 1998, this being his best known character.

Furthermore, he also portrayed Arthur Spooner on the TV show The King of Queens, from 1998 to 2007.

Aside from those most well-known roles of his, Jerry has been in many other projects throughout the years, including Law and Order, Sex and the City, The Good Wife and more!

At the same time, he was also recognized for being a comedian.

As for his personal life, Jerry got married to his wife, Anne Meara back in 1954 and the two even formed a comedic duo together known as Stiller and Meara.

The couple would appear on The Ed Sullivan Show quite a lot back in the ‘60s and ‘70s.

The two obviously had a wonderful, life-long love story that many only dream of.

Unfortunately, Jerry had to live a few years without Anne since she sadly passed away in 2015.

The comedic duo had two kids – Amy, and Ben Stiller. He also leaves behind two grandkids – both Ben’s offspring.
