It turns out Ab-Soul doesn’t always wear sunglasses to just look “cool.” The TDE rapper suffers from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, a condition that makes his eyes hypersensitive to light. Although he’s talked about it in the past, its relevance seems more integral than ever, considering his latest album’s art. In order to capture the cover image of his new album, Do What Thou Wilt, he had to remove his sunglasses to capture the “angst” behind the photographer’s vision. Check out the video above, which explains it in detail.
